My biggest (and possibly only) fan has been giving me grief about not updating my blog...but sometimes you are too busy...or just DON'T have anything worth sharing.One of my favorite holidays is rapidly approaching. We put out all of our indoor Halloween decorations last weekend...but don't have anything out for the yard yet. I THINK I threw most of it away last year because it was getting pretty old...sigh...it is the same story every year with the lights for the Christmas tree!!
I LOVE Halloween...it signals Fall to me. The air is cooler, the kids are good and embedded in their new school year, and you see really cool decorations!!
Now don't get me wrong, I am no Martha Stewart...as I am sure AT LEAST one person reading this is (yes I mean you Stacy)...but we have some cool stuff that the kids LOVE. Take, for example, the Wolfman head that is hanging on the wall. It is motion sensitive, and when you walk by he howls, his eyes light up, his jaw starts moving, and he starts singing, "I'm your boogeyman, that's what I am..." Cheesy, yes I know, but the kids love him!! I also have an interesting assortment of pumpkins that light up and you put them in your windows.I think I might try this mouse thing on the side here. Wonder where you can get a bunch of little fake mice? My cats will probably end up tearing them to shreds!! But it is totally cool looking. Ahhh the things I could do if I had a leeeeetle bit of time and a lot of money!
I was totally coming here to post a comment about getting some LLB update! And I think I saw some rats at World Market.
