AHHHH...Mother's Day

Here are a couple of pictures of my Mother's Day gift...

The Nikon D60...beautiful isn't it!! I have BEEN wanting/needing a new camera for a while now. Thanks Mikey, I LOVE IT. It takes amazing pictures...some of which will get posted...once I figure out how to use it!!!

Saturday was a good day. Mike took me to buy my gift, and to help him get over the sticker shock, I took him to Berryhill for fish tacos and a margarita. WHO KNEW that margaritas are only $3 on Saturdays? One margarita turned into about 7 margaritas before it was all said and done. Once we left there, Mike felt much better about our new purchase...actually he was feeling pretty good about most things!!!!

Sunday was nice as well...and a lot calmer. Once we got out of church, we high-tailed it to Chili's, and then headed home...where I preceded to take a 2 hour nap...ahhhhh!!!! I got one of those cute little books from Jackson, the ones where they tell you why they love you, and give general observations about you. Here are some things I learned from Mr. Jackson...

a. He thinks I am 8 feet tall (yes, he actually wrote that)

b. He thinks I make the best spaygadi (spaghetti) in the world.

c. I give good hugs and kisses.

So sweet. I hope all the other Moms out there had as good a weekend as I did. Love to all...L
