In The Immortal words of Fred Flintstone: YABBA DABBA DOO!!!

It is Friday, and all I am waiting on is for Mr. Slate to blow that 5 o'clock whistle...and my ass is outtie!! My plans for the weekend are up for debate at the present moment. It seems Jackson's coach entered the team at the last minute in a tournament in League City...and Mike said, "Sure, the Blues are in..." uh wait, maybe I should have check that WITH MY WIFE FIRST, because now my ass is IN THE DOG HOUSE. I had no intention, and still have no intention of hauling my ass back and forth between League City and The Woodlands all weekend long. Have fun Mikey.
I need to spend some time with my other child. In all the baseball hoo hoo that is always going on, she sometimes gets overlooked on the weekends. We either make her go with us to such fun and exciting places as Cy Fair, or League City...or...oooohhhh...Kingwood or she doesn't go with us and she ends up just staying at home all weekend...alone...that ain't good!!! I think I will take her shopping, and maybe to a movie or something like that...who knows. What I do know is that tonight we are going to go and kill about 15 pounds of crawfish and several pitchers of beer!!

That ought to just about do it!! Have a great weekend everyone!!

It Is The Strangest Thing...

For two months now I have been unable to get to my blog at work..."Suspicious Content is Forbidden at JP Morgan...blah blah blah." Today I found some backdoor way to post an entry...now mind you I still cannot actually LOOK at my blog...but I can post to it. Weird, I know...but don't fault me if stuff isn't lined up well or if it looks bad. I can't look at it to preview anything.
There hasn't been TOO much going on in the life of the Blues since last I posted though. Jackson is playing baseball again, and Jordan is growing like a weed...13 going on 23...as you can see from this picture...
Jackson's team moved up to 8U Elite baseball...a lot harder, but they seem to be doing fine. They got 2nd place in a tournament this weekend. Another trophy for the closet...we REALLY gotta get some shelves in his room...
Spring has FINALLY sprung here in Southeast Texas. I never thought I would be ready for some warmer weather, but I was getting SICK TO DEATH of all the cold. Now I know we are about to go from 42 degrees everyday to 92 degrees, and this LOVELY 72 degree weather is just a blip on the radar, but I am really loving it!! I think it is time to go and gas up the boat, give it a little tune up, and get it into some water...somewhere!! My goal for the summer is to have both the kids kneeboarding by the time they go back to school. Hope everything is going well for you and yours!! Love...L
